Imitation of stone, marble, wood species is applied to the surface. Light-colored plastic is installed on the ceiling, and dark over time bothers and creates an oppressive impression. The following technologies are used to cover the strips:

Installation procedure

The preparation includes marking on the walls of the lines for lowering the ceiling using the building level. Along this line passes the UD profile, which is mounted around the perimeter of the room. The lowest point of the ceiling is taken as the starting point. For fastening the strapping profile, dowels are used, which are located after 40 cm.

Lines are marked on the ceiling, along these rails brackets are fastened for fixing the main CD profile.

The ends of the bearing part are led into the wall piping and fastened with self-tapping screws for working on metal. The main runs are also fixed to brackets with similar hardware.

It is important to maintain a strict horizontal structure, therefore, use the level during installation.

First, the starting strip is fastened, which is located around the perimeter of the room. The plastic strips are cut to size, their ends are inserted into the starting profile, and the body is attached to the supporting profiles with self-tapping screws. During installation, it is necessary to carefully connect the seams of the panels so that gaps do not form. This is done with the help of a helper.

Quality checking

When buying, a visual inspection is carried out, attention is drawn to surface integrity and dimensional accuracy. On the front surface, the manifestation of internal rigid ribs in the form of protruding strips is not allowed. The seller, at the request, joins 2 trimming of the selected material in a horizontal position to check the seam connection and the absence of clearance.
